Made these gorgeous Nigella Lawson cupcakes this week.  I doubled the recipe and used small cupcake cases, and it made four dozen!  I didn’t have enough to decorate with royal icing and the little decorative flowers I bought, but that’s is fantastic in Toddler world as I was able to offer mine just plain cupcakes, and he was happy!

I am trying to make husby a cake for his 30th birthday – TOMORROW!  However I knew if I never got the chance this week, this was a simple option that made sure there was cake.  However UN-masculine they may be 🙂
